About Sarah

I used to work a regular office job, but most of my paycheck went to daycare costs. I started looking for something to do from home.
On this blog, I hope to share with you my best learning experiences. Having my own home business has been a huge blessing to my family. And, it's not just for moms anymore! My husband enjoys helping out quite a bit!

Adjusting from the non-profit world (behind an office desk 35 hours a week) to my super-flexible schedule at home was a challenge. I have found that being successful in a home business requires three things you don’t learn in an office job. The first thing needed for your home business is operating hours. You might  [ Read More ]

I recently read the following story from 2008 about a Social Worker in New York on his way home from work. Julio Diaz has a daily routine. Every night, the 31-year-old social worker ends his hour-long subway commute to the Bronx one stop early, just so he can eat at his favorite diner. But one  [ Read More ]
